School Days in the 70s
May 23, 2012
All clothes: Red Cross Second Hand Store (City-butiken, Umeå, kan du hitta alla dessa plagg och mycket mer i!!)
Shoes: Modekungen.se
You might call this a 70s flashback, or just a new version of what a 70s school uniform would look like if I was the one to style it. I am SO totally in love with this ethno bag , isn't it totally dope? I j'adore it.
I have always been a bit of a 70s romantic, even though I always tend to hide my 70s influences rather well a lot of the times. The 70s are times that inspire me immensly - lifestyle wise and clothing wise.
Just the sense of: "we can do anything we want to do! We are capable of SO much" , that's what I love about this era.
Something us 90s/00s kids should learn something from!
And well, the clothes aren't half bad either.

Burnt Pastels
May 21, 2012
Dress: Stylein
Shoes: Modekungen.se
Bag: Modekungen.se
So I have my AP Math Finals on Wednesday and I am so nervous. So very nervous. And I need to study. I really do.
Oh but the dress I'm wearing is new: it's from the Swedish designer Stylein , I really love it, these burnt pastels really do have their special charm, don't they?
AND the shoes are new too, or more like new-old: I wore my old pair so much that the heel broke and so Modekungen.se was super-nice enough to send me a new pair!

Style Gossiper on Tumblr and Instagram
May 20, 2012
So, as most bloggers these days. I have more blogs, social networks, whatever you may choose to call these things, than my actual blog.
So now I've finally fixed up my Tumblr in a way that feels like me and my style(and I post all of the things I'm inspired by on that one! ). And I also have an Instagram user where I post photos of my daily life frequently.
SO here we go, follow me if you want to:

Coney Island. Such a beautiful, beautiful place.
New York City, I miss you so much. Every day, basically.

Maybe I'm more clever than a girl like her
May 16, 2012

Sunny days with a best friend are amazing, aren't they? Especially when you're wearing a brand new dress which you love and feel is going to be perfect for the upcoming summer.
I bought this dress in my beautiful New York City, its' from Armani Exchange and I am I just in love with it. The perfect black dress, I kind of feel like a mix between Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany's and, as Cornelia pointed out: "someone from a show like Gossip Girl or Sex and The City, who's going out to a party!"
Yet, I feel like me. Which is, obviously, what we all should aspire to be. Ourselves. And yes I did realize how very cliché that sounded. But whatever! Oh and the shoes are also new, they are unlabelled though but I love them just as much!
(^Listen to this song, "White Houses" by Vanessa Carlton...it's AMAZING!)
Dress: Armani Exchange (s/s 12 collection)
Nude Platforms: bought in New York City at random shop in SoHo(or well not random, just unique)
Sunglasses: bought in London/second hand market
We have no school tomorrow or on Friday, which should mean days of chilling out for me...but will however, more likely, mean days of studying Math for my Math finals next week. UGH.
Anyway, what to do right?
