I have probably watched too many episodes of Gossip Girl since I immediately think of Blair Waldorf when I hear the phrase: Queen Bee. And not at all about bees, really. 

Urban Dictionary describes 'Queen Bee' like this: 

"a girl whom, usually in a high school setting, is the 'leader of the pack.' She doesn't always have to be the prettiest, but she is extremely confident, and because she thinks she's hot, others do too. She knows all of the 'important' gossip, and people emulate her style." 

So there we go. A Queen Bee. I am definitely not Queen Bee. Even though I often tend to be rather bossy and decisive. And I do try to keep up with the latest gossip, style gossip especially.
