I think any girl/woman should have two parts of her closet: one part filled with tailored, well-fitted items that fit her body perfectly. The other should mostly contain slouchy, over-sized coats, t-shirts and sweaters that she can just throw on over a pair of black pants or together with a skirt.

This is, of course, in the ideal closet of a woman. Not many of us manage to think it through to that extent and we realize this when we are about to buy our fourth skirt this month, similar-to-the-other-ten-skirts-we-have-at-home.

Nevertheless, it's something to consider. And yesterday was one of those days when I used the clothes in the "slouchy" part of my closet, pairing an oversized t-shirt with an over-sized coat and a pair of skinny leather pants and, naturally, a pair of insanely high heels.

  1. Literally just wrote a whole post on my thoughts about oversized attire.

I agree, though. Half and half would be nice. Even better? Mixing the two wardrobes together. I love tailored pieces paired with slouchy ones.

You look so awesome with your oversized tops and fitted pants. Killin' it.
